Layne Atkinson is passionate about teaching and the general development of people through education. Driven by this passion, he set forth on creating an innovative educational solution for students at all levels to ensure “no one can be left behind”. Layne has demonstrated his commitment to the general education process as he hosts an Annual “back-to-school” treat of the students in a local inner-city community providing more than 100 students at various levels with financial support and school materials to support their annual studies. He also acts in the capacity of mentor for many of these students up to the tertiary level. Layne received his Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of the West Indies and is also a CFA Charterholder. He has spent the last 12 years working in the Education industry, covering all level of schooling (primary, secondary, tertiary), with a focus on Mathematics and Economics. He has been a successful tutor and boast a 95% pass rate, with majority of his students performing in the top tier of the grading scale. Currently, Layne works as a Risk professional in the financial industry, where he manages and monitors financial risk for entities in the English Caribbean Region. Layne also provides data analytic support to the various business lines which helps to drive the decision-making process across the Region.

Mr. Leighton Atkinson has 10 years of teaching/tutoring experience in Mathematics for both primary and secondary educational levels. Leighton also tutored Biology, Chemistry and Physics for 8 years for educational levels of Grades 7 to 10 and pre-university levels. He holds an 100% pass rate for all his pupils with grades no lower than Grade 2 for CXC/CSEC examinations and Grade 3 upwards to Grade 1 for CAPE examinations. Leighton studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology with a minor in Telecommunications. He was previously employed at Caribbean sports cable provider SportsMax limited for 8 years in the roles of SportsMax Zone Producer, ISSA Schoolboy Football OB (Outside Broadcast) Producer for CEEN TV, TV and Promotional Content Producer & Video Editor while also acting in the role of Sports News Producer for CEEN TV.
